The Don’t Miss Media Group is founded by Georgina Wilson-Powell, an author, journalist and magazine editor, who has 20 years experience in running media platforms.
She has lived in Margate for seven years and she’s most often found swimming at Walpole Bay or walking her dog, Maggie May.

Kimberley Dodds is our fabulous Don’t Miss Broadstairs editor. Kimberley is a writer, editor, press consultant and communications specialist with over 20 years of experience working in media. She has written for national and international publications, including Vogue, National Geographic, GQ, Country Living, Marie Claire, Women’s Health, the Telegraph, and many more.
Forever a beach girl and Broadstairs girl at heart, Kimberley was born and raised in Thanet. She relocated back to the area in 2019 after over 15 years of travelling and living in London. She now lives by her favourite childhood beach, Botany Bay in Broadstairs, with her husband and two young children.
