Happy Monday to you all. The Easter Holidays are over, the kids are going back to school as we speak, and everything’s settling back into its usual rhythm.
I hope you had a brilliant couple of weeks over Easter – from the Food Festival, to all the beach cafes re-opening and so many activities going on, it’s been a busy and wonderful one.
But it doesn’t mean there’s now less to do. Far from it. With Earth Day and St George’s Day both taking place this week, there’s numerous things to celebrate. Check out just how much is on this week below. As ever, there’s something for everyone.

Finally, 5 Things To Know…
The Easter Holidays are over, which means Namaka’s back to its normal Spring hours from today. They’re now closed Tue, Wed and Thu, and will be open Fri - Mon, 8am - 3pm each week.
Bleak House has just announced there’s going to be a new Children’s Literary Festival taking place there next month, on 30 May from 10am - 3pm. Keep an eye out for more details soon!
Fifteen Square Metres is now closed for a short break this week, returning on Wed 29 April with a brand new menu. Keep an eye on their website for the new dishes, and book up for when they’re back.
Plantlet will also be closed for a little while due to owner Izzi moving house. Congrats to her for buying her first home! The plant shop will be closed until 6 May now, when she’ll be back to her usual hours (Wed –Sat, 10am - 5pm).
The previous owners of The Funicular Coffee House (which has now been taken over as Finxs) have also promised TWO exciting announcements coming soon. This week they shared that “soon you will be enjoying elevated Viking Bay Sea views”, which has got us very excited 👀.
