Don't Miss: Beach Coffee Social, New Padel Club & Murder Mystery
So many plans, so little time.
What a week that was! 🌞
We’re somehow now in June, which just so happens to be one of my favourite months in Broadstairs.
The beaches will be less busy for the next few weeks, and it’s also Summer Solstice month! Last year I headed to Stone Bay for it (yes, at 4am), and it was so full of happy vibes, the beaches buzzing, and coffee being served from NāMAKA as the sun rose.
We’ll round up what’s going on for it later in the month, as well as more of June’s chock-a-block events, including the Dickens Festival, Father’s Day and much, much more.
As for this week? Scroll down and take your pick! As usual, there’s plenty going on.
We have a small favour to ask – if you’re enjoying this newsletter and you have friends who will also enjoy getting FREE weekly listings in their inboxes, please tell them to also subscribe. They can do so at the link below and each week they’ll get one email in their inbox letting them know what’s happening in Broadstairs. What’s not to love?
Enjoy your week. Don’t miss out - Kim xx

🎥 Film: The Christophers (15)
Fri 5 + Sat 6 Jun, 7.30pm + Sun 7 Jun, 4pm / Palace Cinema
Worth it for Ian McKellen alone. Aging 1960s/70s pop-art icon Julian Sklar (played by McKellen) is broke and struggling. His estranged children hire an art restorer/forger to complete some abandoned, unfinished canvases found in his attic. If passed off as finished masterpieces, the canvases are worth millions. Film of the week.
