From new rides to extended opening days, Dreamland has something for everyone this August.
I end every summer with tokens scattered around the house from friend and family visits (and every summer think I should get a season pass!), so I’ll be gathering them up for one last jaunt on the rides (til October) - just me and my wife. A Dreamland date day is something we do every year. And now we’ve got til 2 Sept to do it.

The summer holidays are nearly done but not yet!
Our favourite amusement park has added extra opening dates and has some incredible wristband prices to make it even more affordable to enjoy all the fun of the fair before school starts again.
Don’t miss these five reasons to get down there now.
1.Dreamland Margate is open every day until 2 Sept
The park is open daily including every day of the August Bank Holiday weekend.
Extra dates have just been added on Tue 1 and Wed 2 Sept, so you get two bonus days after the bank holiday rush dies down.
After 2 September the park goes back to weekend only opening. Dreamland’s opening times are 10.30am - 6pm, rides open from 11am.
2. Ride wristbands are 15% off for two more weeks
Wristband prices are frozen at 15% off until 2 September.
Tiny Tots Wristbands are £10.99. They cover the smaller rides including Little River, Cups and Saucers, Ladybirds, Margate Express, Helter Skelter, Noah’s Ark, Magic Rockets, Austin Cars and the Caterpillar Coaster. Ideal for children between 0.8m and 1.2m.
Mega Ride Wristbands are £20.99 and give unlimited access to every ride all day. For anyone over 1.2m.
Prefer to pay as you go?
Standard ride tokens are £3 each, or 20 for £40. One token per ride. Buy them at the booths on site. T&Cs apply.
3. There’s a brand new Bavarian Funhouse
New for this summer- and until Sept only - the Bavarian Funhouse has three levels of wobbly floors, water jets, crazy steps and rolling barrels.
It’s one token per rider, and it’s included in the Mega Wristband. Minimum height is 1m if accompanied, or 1.2m to go in alone.
4. Big names are still to come on the Scenic Stage
The outdoor season goes out on a high. If you haven’t been to a Dreamland gig yet this summer, there are some corkers coming up this month. Don’t miss…
Fri 21 Aug: Nile Rodgers and CHIC, with The Brand New Heavies and James Emmanuel.
Sat 22 Aug: Bastille, with Orla Gartland and Only The Poets.
Sun 30 Aug: Babyshambles, with Big Special, Warmduscher, GANS and PreGoblin.
Amusement park opening times can change on event days, so check the website before you travel.
5. And if you really can’t make it, don’t panic…October half term is already sorted
If you can’t make it this month, the park opens every day of October half term from Sat 24 to Sat 31 Oct. Perfect for entertaining little ones when has weather turned.
